Introducing RealMarketAPI

RealMarketAPI is a project built with a simple goal: make real-time market data easier to access, easier to use, and easier to build on.

Before anything else — thank you.

To everyone who has started using RealMarketAPI, shared feedback, or even just tried it out: it genuinely means a lot. This project is growing because of you.

What RealMarketAPI Does

At its core, RealMarketAPI provides:

  • Real-time price data for selected market symbols
  • API endpoints designed to be simple and predictable
  • Built-in technical indicators like SMA, EMA, MACD, and RSI
  • Fast responses suitable for dashboards, tools, and automation

It’s designed for developers who want to ship quickly without spending weeks dealing with data infrastructure.

Why This Exists

This project started from a practical need: building products that depend on live market data without wanting to rely on overly complex or expensive systems.

RealMarketAPI is built from that perspective — not as a “perfect” solution, but as a useful one.

Current Limitations

Being transparent: RealMarketAPI is still growing, and there are limitations.

  • Limited symbol coverage
We currently support a smaller set of symbols compared to larger providers. New symbols (like XNGUSD) are being added gradually, but coverage is not complete yet.

  • Feature scope is focused
We prioritize core functionality (pricing + indicators). Advanced features like deep historical datasets or complex analytics are not the main focus right now.

  • Evolving infrastructure
Performance and scalability are continuously being improved. While the system is stable, it’s still being refined as usage grows.

  • Documentation and tooling
We’re improving docs and examples over time, but it’s not as extensive as mature platforms yet.

What We’re Working On

The direction is clear:

  • Expanding symbol coverage across more markets
  • Improving reliability and response times
  • Adding more indicators and useful endpoints
  • Making integration even simpler

Progress may be incremental, but it’s consistent.

Who It’s For

RealMarketAPI is best suited for:

  • Developers building MVPs or early-stage products
  • Indie makers who want speed over complexity
  • Projects that need real-time data without heavy infrastructure

If you need a highly specialized or enterprise-grade data system today, this may not fully replace those solutions yet.

But if you want something lightweight, practical, and improving fast — it might be exactly what you need.

Final Thoughts

RealMarketAPI is not trying to be everything.

It’s a focused tool, built step by step, with real use cases in mind.

And again — thank you for being here early. Your support, feedback, and usage are what drive this forward.

RealMarketAPI is being built in public — improving over time, one feature at a time.
